Why Mary Robnett is running as “non-partisan”
The position of Prosecuting Attorney is a “partisan” one on the ballot, meaning candidates state a party preference. Mary strongly believes that politics doesn’t belong in the Prosecutor’s Office. Crime is not partisan. Justice shouldn’t be political. That’s why Mary chose to run as non-partisan. When she’s elected, you can be sure she’ll focus on the job, not politics.
As a non-partisan candidate, Mary is attracting bipartisan support – including State Auditor Pat McCarthy (D), former Attorney General Rob McKenna (R), and former Pierce County Prosecutor Gerry Horne (D).
Why Mary Robnett is the best choice for Pierce County Prosecutor
In a career of public service, Mary started as an emergency dispatcher, receiving calls from people at the worst times in their lives. Helping people in distress is what drove her to earn her law degree — she wanted to get justice for victims.
With her law degree in hand at 35 years old, Mary soon joined the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office, where she worked for 18 years. She led the Special Assault unit and later rose through the ranks to become Chief Criminal Deputy. She now works as a state attorney in the sexually violent predators unit, keeping sex offenders off our streets.
Mary has handled some of Pierce County’s biggest cases and worst criminals
Parkland Rapist
Mary put away Frank Reed Nordlund (AKA the “Parkland Rapist”) for life. He terrorized Parkland Community for years, attacking more than 20 women.
Justice for Zina Linnik’s family
On July 4, 2007 12 year old Zina Linnik was watching fireworks when Terapon Adhahn snatched her from her driveway, then raped and murdered her. Mary Robnett worked closely with us to bring him to justice for multiple crimes. Thanks to Mary’s help, he’ll never get out of prison.

Craigslist Killers
The killers tied up Jim Sanders and his wife, beat his wife, then murdered Jim in front of his wife and kids. Mary Robnett put the killers away for life.”

The incumbent does not deserve to be re-elected
Being a public servant is a sacred trust – and Mark Lindquist has broken that trust. He has wasted over 1,000,000 of your tax dollars fighting to hide his public records from you. His personal attorney representing him (for free) in this public records case then received almost $600,000 in government contracts – paid for by you.
Under Lindquist’s leadership, Pierce County has the highest number of overturned guilty verdicts in Washington state because of prosecutorial misconduct. And, because Mark Lindquist appeared on the Nancy Grace television show discussing an active case (against the advice of his deputy prosecutors) he could lose his license to practice law.
There are many reasons to not vote for Mark, so many we wrote a little book on them. You can view all the reasons (with sources) on TruthAboutMark.com.
