I’m Amy Scanlon and I work on our child abuse multi-disciplinary team in Pierce County. I’ve known Mary Robnett since 2004, back when I was still fairly new to social work. I was looking for examples to look up to, people who handle these difficult child abuse cases who were also healthy, strong and well-rounded.

I quickly figured out, that was Mary to a T! And so she became in a way my secret mentor, even if she doesn’t know it. I know from working with her that Mary is a born leader and someone who works extremely hard to help protect the community.
